Fortunately my moment of clarity happened when I realized that someone asking “What does it mean when…” limits the answer to a single answer, to a linear process, and that’s not the way it works. However, it’s not that that’s bad, it’s just that there’s a different and better way to ask.
THE BETTER QUESTION
Surprisingly, it’s not “What does it mean when…” that we can be asking but “What things can it mean when…” That’s the next step forward.
